iFilm series depicts love in colossal amounts

iFilm series ‘The Tenth Night’ is an impressive drama themed on religious ceremonies held for Imam Hussein’s (AS) martyrdom anniversary.

The onscreen ifilm series directed by Hassan Fathi is one of the best Iranian dramas depicting the worldly love of a man named Heidar who ends up being intoxicated by the love of the third Shia Imam.    

Heidar has to organize and perform in a 10-night passion play banned by the Pahlavi regime. It's called Ta'zieh, and it's the story of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and his companions which is played during the month of Muharram.

 Heidar decides to play Russian roulette by accepting the challenge which landed him in more trouble than he may be able to handle. He launches the passion play and everything goes well until the ninth night, while on the 10th night something unexpected happens.
